Syrian forces take full control of dozens of towns in Aleppo

The Syrian army has said it had taken full control of dozens of towns in Aleppo’s northwestern countryside. In a televised address, President Bashar al-Assad said his forces’ rapid recent gains presaged the eventual defeat of the nine-year insurgency. He also expressed his resolve to take full control of Aleppo. Meanwhile spokesman of United Nations, David Swanson said over 40,000 have been displaced in the last four days alone from the province.
