Indian troops martyr one Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district

In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops martyred the youth, Shabbir Ahmad Malik, during a violent cordon and search operation at Branpathri Kahlil in Tral area of the district. The operation continued when last reports came in.
Meanwhile, people took to the streets near bus stand and in Nagbal area of Tral town and staged demonstrations against the killing of the youth. Indian police and troops fired pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters, injuring several of them.
A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement led by its Chairman, Mir Shahid Saleem, called on the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, at his Hyderpora residence in Srinagar and apprised him of the prevailing situation of the Jammu region.
Senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, in a statement in Srinagar expressed concern over the deteriorating health of illegally detained Kashmiri youth, Sajjad Ahmed Butt, in Srinagar Central Jail. He appealed to the world human rights organisations to take cognizance of the plight of the Kashmiri detainees and use their influence for their release.
On the other hand, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement, Muhammad Sharif Sartaj, addressing a seminar in Samba area of Jammu region said that India had turned occupied Kashmir into a slaughter house where innocent Kashmiris were being killed by Indian troops every day.
Indian police arrested Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement leader, Abdul Rashid, after raiding his house in Tailbal area of Srinagar and shifted him to some unknown place.
