Iranian President Hassan Rouhani says the United States has failed in its attempts to isolate and harm its global standing.
He made the comments ahead of his visit to the Azerbaijani to attend the 18th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement.
He said Iran is a “key and influential” country in the region and economic sanctions imposed by the US on the Islamic Republic cannot bring the Iranian nation to its knees.
