A powerful earthquake measuring 7.1 yesterday on Richter scale has jolted Indonesia.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake was 139 km northwest of the city of Ternate at a depth of 45 km.
A tsunami alert has been issued after the quake.
