Karachi: Dua Nisar Mangi, who was kidnapped from Karachi’s Bukhari Commercial in the DHA early on Sunday, has returned home safely on Friday night . According to her family sources, Dua Mangi safely returned home on Friday night.
Dua’s maternal uncle thanked media for highlighting her case and assured that everything is fine. The family made no further comment as yet. As per police authorities, Dua Mangi was kidnapped for ransom and reportedly her family members had also received suspicious phone calls from the internet.
Dua was kidnapped from Karachi’s DHA area last week by armed persons near a restaurant in the city's Bukhari Commercial area. Dua was kidnapped at gunpoint in the DHA area of Karachi's District South by armed kidnappers, who also shot and critically injured her male friend.
Police had lodged an FIR against four unidentified persons over Dua’s abduction vase. According to law enforcement agencies, the kidnappers had used a snatched car that was reported stolen from the city’s PECHS area two weeks earlier.
