China opposes new rules imposed by US against its state media entities

China says it firmly opposes new rules imposed by the United States against five Chinese government and ruling Communist Party-backed media entities.

Speaking at a daily briefing in Beijing, Foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said his country reserved the right to respond to Washington’s actions.
