Aviation Division says the Gilgit-Islamabad air route is operational for flights amid increased preventive measures to contain the spread of novel coronavirus. In a statement in Islamabad on Saturday, a spokesman for the Aviation Division said Gilgit airport is operational and handles flights from Islamabad. He said the airport is disinfected on daily basis in line with the guidelines of health experts to avoid the contagious virus.
