Worldwide coronavirus death toll rises to over 655,000

The number of coronavirus cases across the world has crossed sixteen point six million while the pandemic has claimed more than 655,000 lives so far. The United States is the worse hit, where cases have mounted over four point four million and death toll reached over 150,000. More than ten point two million patients have recovered from the disease across the world.
