Int’l leaders will hold talks to raise aid for Beirut

International leaders will hold talks today to raise aid for Beirut after the massive explosion. The virtual conference is set up by France and the United Nations. Representatives from European Union member states, China, Russia, Egypt, Jordan, and the UK will all take part, with many others invited to attend. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Lebanon Hassan Diab has pledged to hold early elections in the country as a way out of the ongoing crisis.
