Syria's political process must be accelerated: China

China says the political process must be accelerated in Syria to achieve lasting peace and stability in the country. This was stated by China's permanent representative to the United Nations, Geng Shuang while speaking at the Security Council's open video conference on the political situation in Syria. Shuang urged parties concerned to actively and pragmatically participate in inclusive political dialogue within the framework of the Constitutional Committee.
