World leaders hold video summit to raise aid for Beirut

International leaders are holding talks today to raise aid for Beirut after the massive explosion. The virtual conference is set up by France and the United Nations. In opening remarks to an online donor conference,   French President Emmanuel Macron urged World powers to support the Lebanese people after a massive blast devastated their capital as the country’s future is at stake. Representatives from European Union member states, China, Russia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, and the UK are taking part in the conference.
