The number of coronavirus cases across the world has surpassed thirty-one point four million while the pandemic has claimed more than 968,000 lives so far. The United States is the worst-hit country with over seven million infection cases and over 204,000 deaths, followed by India with over five point five million cases and over 88,900 deaths. More than twenty-three million patients stand recovered.
