CM Balochistan reviews existing laws enforced in various government departments

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has chaired a high-level meeting held in Quetta to review the existing laws enforced in various government departments. During the meeting, the status of existing laws, new legislation, and amendments for further improvement were also reviewed. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed the need to make such laws that are compatible with the present epoch. He instructed the Secretaries of concerned departments to expedite the consultation and deliberation process to make recommendations for necessary amendments in the existing laws. Earlier, the concerned authorities briefed the meeting about the current status of existing laws, citizenship act 1951, and progress of proposed amendments in the Balochistan Employees Efficiency and Discipline Act.
