Coronavirus: European Commission urges countries to lift UK travel bans

The European Commission has called on member states to lift travel bans imposed against the UK amid fears of a new Covid strain. The non-binding recommendation has put forward ahead of a meeting of ambassadors from the 27-member bloc.
