Palestine, Jordan slam Israel's plan to build new settlement units in occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem

Palestine and Jordan have slammed Israel's plan to build over two thousand five hundred new settlement units in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. Palestinian Presidency spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, stressed that all Israeli settlement activities are violating the international law, especially the resolution of 2334 of the UN Security Council. Meanwhile, a spokesman of the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, Daifallah Fayez, said that such activities undermine the chances for peace and a two-state solution to the Palestine dispute.
