Hurriyat Leader stresses need for settlement of Kashmir dispute

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has stressed the need for settlement of the Kashmir dispute through a sustained dialogue process between Pakistan and India in the interest of peace in the region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, while talking to people during his visit to Rafiabad in Baramulla he said that the lingering Kashmir dispute has attained a central stage in the changing political scenario at the global level.

Other Hurriyat leaders in their separate statements strongly condemned the unabated Indian brutalities in the occupied territory, particularly the Shopian district. They urged the UN Chief to place economic sanctions on India for violating international resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir.
