The US Special Envoy for Afghanistan Reconciliation, Zalmay Khalilzad has arrived in Doha to hold talks with the Afghan Taliban on the Afghan peace process. Khalilzad’s planned meetings with Taliban leaders in Doha would be the first in person since President Joe Biden’s administration announced that it was reviewing the plans for the Afghan peace process.
