District Administration Swat arranges 'On Call Kacheri', Public demand action against encroachments in bazaars


Swat: The District Administration of Swat organized an 'On Call Kacheri' to hear public issues.  For an hour, Deputy Commissioner Swat Junaid Khan remained in direct contact with the people through phone calls, listened to the problems, and issued instructions to the district officers of the concerned agencies for resolving them. The people appreciated the initiatives of the district administration through which various methods have been adopted for better linkages with the people.  Deputy Commissioner Swat Junaid Khan said that on-call, online and open Kachoris are being arranged regularly to have direct contact with the people and for an understanding of issues and their better solutions.  He said that due to direct interaction with the public, there is an opportunity to know the local issues and performance of district departments and it is very encouraging that public issues are being resolved and people are satisfied with the performance of district administration and departments.  Deputy Commissioner Junaid Khan said that Khuli Kacheri has been reopened at the tehsil level and he himself is ensuring attendance in these courts as required.  During the 'On Call Kacheri', issues such as encroachment in markets, cleaning of irrigation channels, illegal cutting of trees, and treatment by unauthorized doctors in various hospitals and clinics topped the list, while one woman sought the help of the district administration in getting her inheritance right which is being denied to her by her family members.
