Emergency declared across California as fires rage

In the United States, Californian Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a statewide emergency as wildfires, whipped up by fierce winds, continue to sweep through the area.
180,000 people have been ordered to evacuate as wildfire has spread through Sonoma wine-growing region in the state of California.
According to California fire authority, only ten percent of the wildfire, which is spread over 30,000 acres, has so far been contained
