Iran: UN calls for national dialogue to resolve anti-Govt protests

The United Nations has called for holding national dialogue to resolve the ongoing anti-government protests in Iraq.
In a statement, The UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Iraq Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert condemned the rising toll in the violent protests.
She said the protests across Iraq particularly in Karbala are alarming as witness reports indicated that live fire is used against demonstrators causing high numbers of casualties.
Meanwhile, death toll have risen to 250 in violent protest demonstrations.
