A delegation of tourists including six monks from Thailand on Wednesday visited Takht Bhai relics and Peshawar museum.
On this occasion, the monks also performed their special religious services at both the sites.
Briefing the delegation, Director Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Archaeology Department Dr. Abdus Samad said UNESCO has already announced Takht Bhai relics as world heritage sites.
He said the provincial government has taken steps for the preservation of thousands of Budism archaeological sites.
The delegation lauded the steps of provincial government for the preservation and showcasing these archaeological relics.
