Int’l Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (SAW) Conference in Islamabad on Sunday

International Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (SAW) Conference will be held in Islamabad on Sunday, 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal.  
It is being organized under the auspices of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony.
The theme of this year's conference is 'State of Madina and concept of modern Islamic Welfare State - in light of teachings of the prophet (PBUH).' 
Research articles from Scholars, Ulema and Mashaikh from across the country will be read in the symposium. In addition, books on Seerat and Naat have also been sent for competition. Prime Minister Imran Khan will hand over prizes to writers of seventy best research papers and books during the convention.
The opening session of the conference will be chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan while President Dr. Arif Alvi will preside over the concluding session.
The event will be attended by religious personalities, Ulemas, Mashaikh and scholars besides people from various walks of life. Academic figures of international repute from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt, Oman, Iraq, Tunisia and Syria will also attend the conference. They also include Grand Mufti of Oman, Vice Chancellor of Al-Azhar University and professors from Madina University. Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque will especially attend the conference.
