US President's impeachment hearings to go public next week

In the United States, public hearings will begin next week in House of Representatives’ impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump.
The hearings mark a new phase in the probe as House investigators have held only closed-door sessions so far.
The inquiry may begin a formal process to remove the President from office if sufficient evidence is found against him.
The inquiry is centered around Donald Trump`s call to Ukrainian President to investigate Joe Biden who is a frontrunner to take him on in next year's presidential election.
This call has rendered Trump accused of seeking foreign help to win election by defaming the contender which is illegal.
