13 Pakistanis killed in Jordan Valley farm fire

In Jordan, thirteen Pakistanis, including eight children were killed when a fire swept through their makeshift dwellings in a farming estate in the Jordan Valley on Monday.

A civil defence spokesman said, three other people were injured and taken to hospital. He said two families had lived in the makeshift buildings used as housing for immigrant labourers. Police said an investigation had been launched into the incident.
