Libya will be able to hold elections in country after permanent ceasefire: EU

The European Union has expressed the hope that after the declaration of ceasefire, the election will be held in Libya in an effort to bring peace and stability in the country. EU diplomatic chief Josep Borrell in a statement urged concrete actions to enable a permanent ceasefire and a re-launch of the political process. He also called on all parties to implement economic reform for a transparent distribution mechanism of oil revenues.
