UN calls on Afghanistan to take early decisive action to prevent killings of HR activists in country

United Nations has called on Afghanistan to take early decisive action to prevent the killings of human rights activists in the country. In a statement, UN human rights expert, Mary Lawlor said the killing of human rights activists is a tragedy for society and urged the government to urgently put in place an effective national protection mechanism.
