1500 Covid-19 vaccines for front-line health workers arrive in Swat, vaccination kick starts from Kidney and Saidu Hospitals.


Swat: A consignment of the Covid-19 vaccine has reached Swat. The vaccine is being administered to frontline health workers and doctors first.  The first vaccine was administered to the staff of Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Swat Riaz Khan and District Health Officer.  The staff of Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital was also vaccinated on Wednesday.  Speaking on the occasion of vaccination at Kidney Hospital, ADC Swat Riaz Khan said that the corona vaccine would be administered first to the doctors and workers fighting on the front line.  MS Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital Dr. Ghulam Rahmani said that we are very happy that the first vaccine is being administered to the staff of this hospital in Swat.  He also thanked the staff of his hospital.  The vaccine was administered at Syed Group of Teaching Hospital in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Hamid Khan.  District Health Office officials were also present on the occasion.  Initially, 30 vaccines were administered at Kidney Hospital and 50 at Saidu Hospital.
