Islamabad(Spotstory): The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called on Israel to stop the troubling and alarming settlement activity in the occupied West Bank. A UN spokesperson said settlements are a flagrant violation of international law and a major obstacle to comprehensive peace and a viable two-State solution to the conflict. He said the expansion of these illegal settlements is a significant driver of tensions and violence and it deepens humanitarian needs.
